Women Rule The World. Beyonce knows it. We all know it. Many of us won’t openly admit though.  With all the political, cultural and environmental turmoil happening across the globe it’s nice to see women standing out as true change-makers.  Buzzfeed recently compiled a list for of the 17 Badass Women of 2016, which is an annual list they have putting out for several years now.  There is even a twitter page dedicated to the list #badass, with over 20,000 followers.  The list is compiled by Buzzfeed reporter Rossalyn Warren who does a fine job.

We thought the list was great and on-point so we wanted to help spread the word about these wonderful females. Check out the full list here, but we featured a few of the women to make the list:

Marley Dias, the 11-year-old girl who is collecting thousands of books about black girls and campaigning to promote diversity in children’s literature.

The all-female protection team who guarded Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on a visit to the United Arab Emirates.

Reshma Qureshi, the woman who survived an acid attack and went on to walk in a show at New York Fashion Week.
